ElitePipe Joining Methods
Design Pipe develops leading technologies in pipe welding. Here are the ElitePipe joining methods:
- Socket Fusion Welding: Used for joining thin-walled pipes smoothly and robustly. The hole in the welding template that allows the melt to escape during welding indicates that the pipe has reached the welding temperature.
- Butt Welding: Used to join thick-walled pipes for applications requiring high strength. A ceramic system is used to prevent the inner diameter of the pipe from narrowing.
- Electrofusion Welding: Uses electric current to join pipes and fittings. Suitable for applications requiring high pressure and temperature resistance.

ElitePipe Welding Method: Butt Welding
Butt Welding, one of the most common methods used in joining ElitePipe pipes and fittings. Using a butt welding machine, the ends of the pipes to be welded are shaved and then pushed towards each other under a certain heat with pressure. This method ensures that ElitePipe pipes are joined securely and robustly. The butt welding method can weld ElitePipe pipes up to 32 mm in diameter.
