Helical Pipe

Sewer pipes are produced from polypropylene and polyethylene raw materials within the polyolefin group. Extruded corrugated pipes up to Ø450 mm in diameter can be made from polyethylene and polypropylene raw materials, while spiral corrugated pipes are made from polyethylene. Spiral method is used for pipes with diameters of Ø500 mm and above. Dizayn Group has the technology to produce Helical pipes up to 8,000 mm in diameter.

Helical Pipe and Fittings

Helical pipes are safely used in infrastructure projects with high corrosion resistance and long-lasting structure. Extruded corrugated pipes produced up to Ø450 mm in diameter are joined with fittings, while spiral corrugated pipes with diameters of Ø500 mm and above have socket and spigot ends. Helical pipes produced in different diameters and pressure classes have a wide range of applications.

Helical Pipe Advantages

Helical pipes provide a reliable solution in infrastructure projects with high corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, and long-lasting structure. Their flexible structure is not affected by ground movements and offers easy installation. Their lightweight structure reduces transportation and labor costs.

Helical Pipe Usage Areas

Helical pipes can be used in many infrastructure projects such as sewer, stormwater, drainage, wastewater, and industrial applications. Helical pipes produced in different diameters and pressure classes provide flexible and durable solutions that can be used safely in your projects.

Helical Pipe Technical Specifications

Helical pipes provide high strength and flexibility thanks to their double-layer structure. The inner and outer layers made of thermoplastic materials are resistant to chemical and mechanical effects. Technical specifications are as follows:

  • Diameter Range: 450 mm - 8000 mm
  • Ring Stiffness: High
  • Material: Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP)
  • Easy Installation: Gasketed, electrofusion, and extruder welding methods
  • Durability: High chemical and mechanical resistance

Helical Pipe Joining Methods

Different methods are used for joining Helical pipes:

  • Gasketed Joint: Used for pipes up to Ø450 mm in diameter
  • Extruder Welding: Provides high strength and leak-tightness
  • Electrofusion Welding: Resistant up to 4 bar pressure and provides high leak-tightness
